Measurement Guidelines - Updated
Today the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB), in consultation with the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB), have issued joint Measurement Guidelines (September 2011).
This administrative update to the Guidelines includes the following:
- Title change to reflect new Drilling and Production (D&P) Regulations.
- Changed reference from Production and Conservation Regulations to Drilling and Production Regulations.
- Changed C-NOPB to C-NLOPB and added “Labrador” where there were provincial references.
- Changed the “CCO” reference to “BOARD” where applicable to ensure guidance is consistent with D&P Regulations.
- Added a reference to a new “API Recommended practice” regarding Multi-phase metering.
- Added definition of “FSA”- Flow System Application.
