Exploration is managed through the C-NLOPB’s Exploration Department, but a number of Departments, including Legal and Land, Environment and Resource Management would be involved in regulating this activity as well. The Exploration Department conducts resource assessments and geoscientific studies in support of exploration and development projects, including land issuance. This Department also manages materials stored at the Board’s Core Storage and Research Centre.
