The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB), in accordance with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEA Act), must undertake an environmental assessment of certain petroleum exploration and production works or activities proposed for the Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Area. The C-NLOPB also assesses the potential environmental implications of projects and activities that are not covered by the CEA Act.

Each individual listing provides a link to a list of documents relating to the environmental assessment that are contained in the Board’s public registry. Information for the "Archived" Environmental Assessments can be obtained by contacting Information Resources. All documents listed in the registry are available to the public.
