Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Max Ruelokke is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and the Nova Scotia Technical College (now part of Dalhousie University) where he completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil). Mr. Ruelokke is a Professional Engineer with a wide experience in offshore oil and gas development. He has completed offshore-related work with the Department of Regional Economic Expansion and the Department of Development and Tourism within the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and has served as Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Technology within the same government. Senior appointments in private sector activity include: co-founder and Vice-President of Hydrospace Marine Services, President and CEO of Marystown Shipyard Limited, Bull Arm Site Corporation, and General Manager of AGRA-Brown & Root and AOC Brown & Root Canada Limited. At the time of his appointment as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer to the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board in October 2006, Mr. Ruelokke was General Manger, East Coast Canada, AMEC Oil and Gas.
