Ed Drover is Financial Advisor and President of Ringwood Wealth Management Inc. with Freedom55 Financial, a division of London Life Insurance Company, located in St. John’s. Mr. Drover is an active entrepreneur in the province with interests in commercial real estate, rental properties as well as recreational and tourism development. Mr. Drover currently serves as Chair of the Major Gifts Committee with the Health Care Corporation of St. John’s; Chair of the Finance Committee of the Eastern Health Board of Trustees; Director and Member of the Executive Committee of the Health Care Foundation; Chair of the Evergreen Environmental Board of Directors; and Member of the Research Advisory Group of Canada. He is a Commander with the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem Grand Priory of Canada. Mr. Drover has made significant contributions to numerous other worthwhile organizations of national and provincial scope including the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, the National Capital Commission and Statistics Canada. He was appointed to the first board of Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. Mr. Drover is also the majority owner of The Wilds Golf Course and Resort at Salmonier River. Mr. Drover has been a member of the Board of Newfoundland Power since April 2004 and currently serves on the Governance & Human Resources Committee. He was appointed by the Premier to the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board in January, 2009.
